The Company has not filed for patent protection with respect to specific formulations, materials (including inactive ingredients) or manufacturing process approaches that are incorporated in its DAR products, and may not seek such patent coverage in the future. In producing its DAR products, the Company expects to use general formulation techniques used in the industry that would be modified and which would, therefore, include know-how and trade secrets. The Company cannot be certain that a patent would issue to cover such intellectual property and currently, it would prefer to keep such techniques and know-how as trade secrets.
